Movie News: Terrence Howard bows out of Iron Man 2

"Financial differences" cited, Don Cheadle named as replacement
The Hollywood Reporter revealed today that Terrence Howard, who played Jim Rhodes, will be replaced by Don Cheadle for the next installment, purportedly the vehicle that introduces "War Machine", the more heavily-armed variation on the Iron Man suit.
According to THR, "[...]sources close to the deal said negotiations with Howard fell through over financial differences, among other reasons. Marvel, which had wanted to work with Cheadle, then decided to take the role in another direction and approached the actor[...]"
At this moment Jon Favreau, Robert Downey, Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow are all expected to reprise their roles in the production of the sequel to one of the most popular movies of this past summer.
